The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) have nabbed two lecturers of the Kwara State College of Health Technology , Offa and 28 others over alleged involvement in cyber fraud.
In a statement made available to journalists on Monday by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale , the two lecturers were identified as Abdullahi Opashola and Adebisi Ademola ,while the other suspects apprehended are:Kingsley Essien,Tobiloba Adenuga ,Tope Ayodele ,Rasheed Mujib ,Oladipo Opeyemi,Saadu Muktar ,Oladejo Hammed ,Hammed Tope ,Ameachi Umenyi , Salauden Adam,Afolabi Gafar, Oladimeji Timi ,Remilekun Adeolu ,Audu John; David Momodu,Abdulkareem Samad ,Adebiyi Sodiq ,Dawodu Olusoji ,Yusuf Amoo ,Kehinde Olarenwaju,Philip Mike , Ademola Adebukola, Adeniyi Olamilekan, Adeyemi Adedeji,Ajayi Teslem ,Olawale Oladayo , Olasunkanmi Olawale and Adeleke Damilola.
According to the statement,the suspects were nabbed by the EFCC operatives from the EFCC Ilorin zonal office at various locations within Kwara State , following intelligence collected by men of the Commission over their alleged involvement in the crime.
Efforts are being made to arrest an herbalist who is also connected with the alleged offence .
Exhibits recovered from the arrested suspects include: cars, phones , laptops among others items.
